Broad Spectrum CBD
Broad Spectrum CBD retains all the compounds that are found in the Hemp plant with the exception of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)*. The main compounds found in Broad Spectrum CBD are:
- CBC (cannabichromene)
- CBN (cannabinol)
- CBG (cannabigerol)
- CBDV (Cannabidivarin)
- CBDA (Cannabidiolic Acid).
- Terpenes - myrcene, limonine or pinene.
Most customers using oral drops choose a product made with Broad Spectrum CBD rather than CBD Isolate due to the "Entourage effect" of the additional compounds.
When using Broad Spectrum oral drops you will imediately taste the terpenes and the familiar taste of Cannabis Sativa. This is due to the Terpenes such as myrcene, limonine & pinene. Many reports and studies also suggest these terpenes may be benifical for patients with cancer. NIH Report
Some of our E-Liquids also use Broad Spectrum CBD to allow vape users to experience the same "Entourage Effect". When combinging our Broad Spectrum E-Liquids with our Terpene based Shotz you gain the maximum possible "Entourage Effect" from your vape.
The other popular form of CBD is Isolate, when making CBD Isolate we remove everything except the CBD itself. This is more commonly used in CBD vape products.
Our 1000mg E-Liquid in 30ml bottles for example is made from CBD Isolate.
The manufacturing process used when making Broad Spectrum CBD removes the THC, making this a safe product for daily use. No process is able to completely remove the THC typically our Broad Spectrum products contain less than 0.00015%. All of our CBD products have lab reports certifing the level of THC and other active ingredients.
