History of CBD
Cannabidiol, otherwise known as CBD, was first discovered way back in 1940. The CBD we use for our products has been extracted from Hemp plants which have been specifically breed to have almost zero levels of THC.
Whilst CBD can also be found in Cannabis the level of the more psycho active THC is much higher, making cannabis unsutable for CBD production.
The use of Cannabis itself for medicinal pourposes can be traced back to 400 BC. So you could say the recent popularity of CBD is going back to our roots.
